We are meant to be sexual beings; however, sometimes, we get out of balance. This can look like total shutdown, dissatisfaction with your sex life, recovering your sexual identity after trauma, children, menopause, affairs, or other life happenings.
Together, we can look at what informs your sexual identity–as an individual and/or as a couple and help you align with your goals. We have experience supporting clients with a variety of sexual dysfunctions as well as sexual compulsion. We work through a family systems lens and consider early attachment, trauma, and stressors that have informed your outlook and approach to sex.
Our specialties include desire discrepancy (struggles with sexual compatibility), sexual trauma, BDSM and Kink, struggles with orgasm or anorgasmia, overcoming sexual shame and/or religious trauma, sexual pain, and body image.
We work with couples at all stages – from early dating to premarital considerations, to early parenting and long-term partnerships. Unique challenges arise at each stage of partnership–from trust, to power balancing, to finances, parenting and sexuality.
